MACS Plasterboard Chief Executive Tom McLoughlin has been invited to join a panel of distinguished business people and politicians at a ground-breaking meeting to discuss employer-provider partnerships.

The event, scheduled for 7th December at a venue to be confirmed, is organised by the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in conjunction with the Association of Colleges and University College London, and supported by JP Morgan Chase.

The meeting will feature a keynote speech by London Mayor Sidiq Khan on skills for Londoners and will focus on vocational educational initiatives to improve skills through enhanced employer-provider engagement.

The meeting agenda includes topics ranging from Technical & Apprenticeship Reforms, launch of the ELVET Report and will include a panel discussion on the perspectives on partnerships.

Joining McLoughlin on the panel is a host of distinguished individuals including Sue Clarke (Qualifications Policy Lead for the DfE), Lord Sainsbury, Hang Ho (Head of EMEA Global Philanthropy JP Morgan Chase), Yvonne Kelly (Principal & CEO, Barking & Dagenham College), among others.

“It is an honour to be asked to join this panel for such an important meeting and topic,” says McLoughlin. “My invitation is due to the acknowledgement within both the construction industry and the vocational education sector of the great training work MACS Plasterboard Systems is doing in colleges, prisons and other areas in the UK.”
