MACS Plasterboard Systems Chief Executive Tom McLoughlin has accepted an invitation to deliver a keynote speech at the Guildhall on Monday night, 20th March.

His speech, the highlight of a black tie banquet celebrating the installation of Patricia Dinsdale as the City Langbourn Ward Club Chairman for 2017, will be received by a distinguished audience of 150 people who are closely connected with the City of London.

There are 25 Wards (voting districts) within the City. Each elects an Alderman and a number of to represent them in the Court of Common Council (the City of London’s “town council”).

The City Langbourn Ward Club, celebrating its 127th anniversary this year, is one of the most influential and best-known wards. It encompasses Leadenhall Market within its precinct. Six Past Presidents of the City Langbourn Ward Club have also been Lord Mayors of London.

“The opportunity to deliver the keynote speech at the Guildhall for one of the most prestigious and influential Ward Clubs in the City of London is a tremendous personal honour, but more importantly, a reflection of how our company is perceived by those who operate within the City of London Corporation”, says McLoughlin.

“This recognition of MACS Plasterboards by the City of London is particularly important as our company continues to expand and win more business in the City, Greater London and the South East.”
