MACS Plasterboards congratulates Aaron Cox for being awarded the “Making it Happen” trophy at the recent Apprentice-of-the-Year 2016/17 Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park competition.

Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park is part of the London Legacy Development Corporation’s plans to drive the legacy of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games to transform the lives of east Londoners.

The annual Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park Awards competition was open to all contractors involved with the Park’s projects and transformation work.

Aaron prevailed over a strong list of candidates to be named one of the competition finalists.

“Aaron has exceptional skills and abilities and was extremely useful to our site supervisor when assisting at the end of our difficult and busy Chobbham Manor project,” says MACS Senior Quantity Surveyor Chris Thomas.

“Aaron did brilliantly in this competition deserves his Making it Happen award.

Aaron is a Quantity Surveying apprentice with MACS and is working full-time to earn his qualifications from Barking and Dagenham College.
