MACS Plasterboard Systems are part of an impressive project that is transforming the site of the former West London BBC broadcast headquarters into a range of family houses, mews houses and spacious apartments.

MACS won the complete internal package works for the Reynard Mills project from its client Hill Partnerships. The project is located at Windmill Road, in Brentford, West London. The architects are BPTW.

The project comprises 195 mixed tenure units included 2-bedroom apartments located in three separate blocks, and three and four-bedroom houses (including townhouses) in nine separate blocks.

Of the 195 units, 81 will be sold under a Shared Ownership scheme, 72 under Private Sale and 42 units will be offered as Affordable Housing.

The former BBC site’s historical context is alluded through the retention of an existing pediment that is to be transferred to mews houses within the new development.

“This project marks yet another ambitious works that MACS are providing for Hill Partnerships”, says MACS Plasterboard COO James McLoughlin.

“We are providing a wide range of works including MS partitions, MF ceilings, SFS, Drylining, Plastering and Rendering. We will have over 100 operatives working on site at times during the project.”
